Music for Use

Paul Hindemith often ushered in

ceremonial occasions 

in Germany where his letters arrived 

 

alongside atonal music wending

its way into various weddings and 

other moments needing pomp and c-

 

including honoring those having completed

their lives necessitating planning to

the level of a gnat's eyelash meaning 

 

such moments meant my pouring melody 

into the silver stalk of woodwind some 

Baroque composition. Music for use 

as an idea has stayed with me.
