Mother's Day 2026
I have been orphaned for twenty-four years
She was the embodiment of intellect
Would have preferred to be a nudist
Often seeing through what others thought
She missed she missed nothing her buoyant heart
Tok it in and hurt for herself and each
Other for her there was no other
I have her voice often mistaken for her
On the telephone I enjoyed saying
No this is Sheila here's Bernadean
Now Bernadean needs no telephone
She's here with the rhododendron lilies
Roses croci tulips she planted
In a circle an array of red pink white
