Feet (our means of propulsion) fuel 

The scoot the sprint the shuffle ambling

Toward or away. Feet by no means effete

Include the 23 bones and 33 

Joints plus in excess of a hundred muscles 

Tendons that can carry us or support 

Our sometimes putting them up like dukes 

Only with the opposite effect

And the pretty nails whether male or female 

Preen along the top of the toes that pose

For us as we take the weight away from 

Our legs hips back likely long before 

We hit the sack as the saying goes 

Not disclosing how we spent this day
