Crowning Glory

The pushover wearing a pullover 

sweater slinks along in a daze

and lumbers forth resembling slumber 

of unconscious dance. Trance-like symptoms crush 

advance in a slant enroute to 

the tipping point of mimesis 

seeming quaint as ebullient bubbles 

rise above the frame a currency

of indulgence positing the sting of 

commonality between the likely unlike

beings beneath their taut haloes
