She Would Not Leave the House

Her house I mean. She gleaned attention at safe distance from known comedians she entertained virtually on a site no longer . . . But that's a story I'm not
ready to share. She sipped fizz-sparklets all day every day and wrote
witty playthings that sparked other gems from people who would not
recognize her if she were to leave the house
But she would not leave the house. Her yard
was crafted by her husband she met online who engineered in beautiful lines
artistic blooms and brick paths that kept her entertained
while she remained safely in the house she would not leave. Her personality
a known commodity came out when she wrote to people online
sometimes even individually although she would not stray
with her lean body outside except out back
where she admired what her husband had made
unless on that day she requested him to scrap his work and begin again a kind of Zen between them
